The Rotary Club of Oamaru is hosting the 2026 General Election Meet the Candidates event on Tuesday September 29th at 6:45pm at the Lindis and Moeraki rooms in the Brydone Hotel.

We are grateful to Dan Lewis who will be MC.

This is an opportunity for the public to come and hear candidates for the Waitaki Electorate introduce themselves and answer written questions from the floor.

Questions can be submitted at the venue on the night either through the online form below, or can be handed in at the door for those who prefer hard copy.

We expect more questions than can be answered in the time available so questions will be selected at the discretion of the organisers with the intent to select by the most common themes.
